Ha I love nosy people (and thus, you)!
It was really good. He was nice and funny, we had a really good time. We went to dinner at District of Pi in Chinatown, then got drinks at Ironhorse, then walked around the mall so it was like a 4+ hour date. He’s tall (6’3!) and played rugby in college and refused to let me pay. He also complimented me a lot on specific things like my watch, which I thought was really observant. And when we were walking around the mall joking about being killed by hobos he kept putting his hand on my back when he laughed. He also waited with me until my metro came before going to get his own, so overall just a real gentleman about everything.
I hope there will be a second date (he’s supposed to call me later) but don’t know if it’s “t-r-u l-u-v” as my roommate says. I don’t usually date strangers (I usually meet someone, develop a crush/become friends then we date) so meeting someone totally randomly is new to me. Are there supposed to be crazy sparks on day 1? Or do you wait and get to know each other then they come? HELP ME! So I’m rolling with it and seeing what happens!
If nothing else it was a breathe of fresh air that there are guys out there that will take you to dinner, be really sweet and actually make it a “date” instead of a happy hour. So it was great!
