Whether it’s after a break up, a college rejection, not getting your dream job or something else, people always say it.
“In the end it will be okay, everything works out how it should.”
And you try to believe it. And generally it’s true. But you rarely get the “a ha!” moment of clarity where you connect the dots and realize yeah, everything happens for a reason.
This week, I had that ‘a ha!’ moment.
Last Fall I was devastated when a job I wanted so badly didn’t work out after a hellish interview/selection process. And this week, I found out some information that made me so happy that it didn’t.
Everything worked out how it should.
I guess what this vague post is saying is, it’s true. Even when you’re so trapped in sadness that you can’t see it. Even if you think nothing would have made you happier. One day the dots will connect and you’ll realize why it didn’t work out to begin with.
I’m now a believer.
