After making a mock up of my room using free online floor plan software so it’s to scale (yes, this is my life) I think I might have room in a corner to add in a desk.
I really want something a la Cupcakes and Cashmere, but I am kind of obsessed with this.
Leave your laptop on the shelf, push it away when not needed and it’s a cute dresser, pop it out when you want it.
And the added glass on top - love.

I am seriously doing the exact same thing right now on floorplanner.com. I literally have my whole house that we didn’t even sign the contract on yet all done (including renovations). I feel so much better that I know what will and will not fit!

I’ve been using Excel for floorplanning my new place: what, praytell, is the name of this free online floorplan gem of which you speak?!?! all the ones I’ve found want my money, and that’s saved for new things for the new pad.

you should see the mockups I did for our place. borderline insane. like, everything is to the inch. but! it helped with shopping and we were able to have our place furnished almost right away b/c i knew what would fit. yay for us!
